CavLibrary was thrilled to collaborate with Ms. Jennifer Allen’s Art I & II classes to host the first annual Spring Art Exhibition. The gallery has been on display for over a week, and over 50 parents and students attended the parent night and awards ceremony. Congratulations to all the artists and parents. The gallery will be on display through April 30.
Join us for the Spring Art Exhibition featuring the artwork of Ms. Jennifer Allen’s Art I & II classes. The gallery will be open all week, April 21-25, with a Parent Night on Tuesday, April 22, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The event will feature an awards ceremony and light refreshments.
Stop by the library to check out Ms. Allen’s Art classes’ display of Op Art Cubes. Students had to create a cube using different types of Op Art on each side. Op Art is a Twentieth Century art movement and style in which artists sought to create an optical illusion and play tricks on the eye of the viewer.
